The Madison Art Society presents a pastel demonstration by Gigi Horr Liverant

The Madison Art Society will present a pastel painting demonstration by Gigi Horr Liverant on August 6, 2015 at 6:30 p.m.  The demonstration will take place on the second floor of Memorial Hall, located on the green in Madison, CT.  The public is open to the public and there is no admission fee.

Gigi Horr Liverant’s work is experiential and inspired by the inconsequential moments and places in life.  She juxtaposes rich color encouraging the observer to experience an ordinary scene with a fresh vision and a prompt to reevaluate his or her own perception. Gigi has worked with pastels and paint for over thirty years in an ongoing exploration of imagery.  Currently she has expended her work in pastels and oils to the use of acrylic paint for large-scale paintings.
