Madison Art Society announces award winners at their 40th annual Juried Show




The Madison Art Society is happy to announce the top award winners at their 40th annual juried show.  Best in Show was awarded to Judy Perry for her beautiful pastel entitled "Winter's Glow".

Second prize went to Joe Roberti for his watercolor entitled " Fiorello" Third place was awarded to Claudia Post for her pastel portrait,  "Jan painting en plein air". The exhibit of 88 works of art is on display in the community room of the Scranton Memorial Library, 801 Boston Post Road, Madison.  The show is available for viewing during library hours until May 29, 2015

Prizes totaling $3,000 were generously donated by area merchants and individuals.  The Madison Art Society is grateful to donors for their support of the arts along the Shoreline.  In turn the Society sponsors a scholarship for a promising student through the Shoreline Arts Alliance and donates a percentage of sales to the library and area civic groups.
